London Product Photography – Stringed Instruments and Bows, shot for Malcolm Tysoe Music Shop
It was a particular pleasure to be asked to photograph a large selection of beautiful musical instruments for Malcolm Tysoe, of Malcolm Tysoe Music Shop in Farnborough Village, Kent. My wife is a violinist so I happen to know a little bit about stringed instruments, so I knew enough to be suitably cautious when told that the first violin I handled was valued in excess of £30,000!
Malcolm Tysoe has taken excellent care of local musicians, both professional, amateur and student for over 30 years in terms of instrument maintenance as well as more fundamental instrument restoration, providing instruments to schools as well as stocking sheet music and being a general font of musical wisdom.
It was a pleasure working with Malcolm and Colin, the Shop Manager, and it’s lovely to see my work proudly displayed in their new website’s home page gallery.
Here’s a small selection of the images I took on the day. As ever, feel free to leave me a comment at the bottom of the page, or like and share this post.
