London Party Photographer – Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington

As a London Party Photographer, I truly enjoy the buzz of what I do. By definition, an event is something a little out of the ordinary – something special, where effort has been made on all fronts to make the evening stand out. So it was with the MBA Student Dinner I was asked to photograph earlier in the summer – aside of the formal celebrations, the students themselves organise a dinner, and this one was a ‘Great Gatsby’ themed extravaganza held at the 5 Star Luxury Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, London.

Based in opulant Kensington, the hotel boasts spectacular views of Kensington Palace and Gardens, Hyde Park and London’s skyline. Ideally situated for both the West end, all of London’s tourist attractions and the main shopping districts, of Kensington, Knightsbridge and Mayfair, not to mention state of the art conference facilities and award winning dining, the hotel ticks all the boxes for a luxurious event venue in my book.

I arrived with my studio setup to capture memorial photos for the students as they arrived and during their champagne reception – once they adjourned to dinner, I put on my ‘reportage hat’ and mingled capturing the event from within.
