I’m a photographer based on the beautiful South Coast in West Sussex, regularly working across London and the surrounding areas. While my work has historically focused on weddings, these days I’m especially drawn to capturing people in a more relaxed and creative way—whether that’s surprise proposals, engagement shoots, or styled sessions.

I feel incredibly lucky that my photography has taken me from the Home Counties and Scotland to destinations like Cyprus, Crete, Ibiza, and even as far as Sydney, Australia. Originally born and raised in London, I still have a strong connection to the city and always enjoy returning to work there. Intuition and spontaneity are two key ingredients that I believe are crucial in making a great people photographer – the third ingredient is experience. Experience to know how to get great shots in pouring rain and gloomy light. Hey – we live in England after all, even if I do get to shoot in sunnier climes from time to time. The experience to know where to position yourself to get key shots, to know how to get the very best from everyone, without ever feeling that you’re being directed or posed. The confidence to know exactly when to press the shutter – not just for any shot, but to hold out for striking imagery.

My photography style is a mixture of contemporary reportage photography with a helping of fashion inspired creative portraiture – I create images that embody the spirit of your day and the heart and soul of those that you have chosen to share it with. Creating stylish images is part of the fun, although I am also occasionally booked for pure documentary coverage.

To those confused by all the terminology, reportage photography is a documentary approach to capturing your wedding with discretion, while portraiture is quite simply any photograph capturing a person. Combined, I give you a narrative of your event, with beautiful images that tell a story.

I only accept a limited number of commissions per year. This allows me to liaise with you before the shoot to ensure that you feel completely comfortable before, during and after your event.
